Data engineer

We’re seeking a highly motivated data engineer with strong communication skills, capable of:

Develops and maintains scalable data pipelines and builds out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
Responsible for building ETL (data extraction, transformation, and loading), storages, and tools for analytic support efforts.
Collaborates with analytic development team to improve data models that feed intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making.
Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for customers.
Performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor’s Degree computer science, information technology, or applied math
Four or more years of programming experience in Python, Java, C++
Four or more years of experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres
Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc
